ADVANTAGE RENT-A-CAR GOES LIVE!

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (January 2006). Advantage Rent A Car launches another technological advancement that offers its’ customers a new state-of-the-art level of service. A live-chat program has been initiated through their national reservation center offering customers using their online system to have instant answers and solutions. A live-chat session may be accessed on their website – advantagerentacar.com – and clicking on the live-chat icon, or customers may access this feature while on the EASY BOOK reservation page.

“Continuing to identify processes that will offer more efficiencies and faster solutions for our customers has always been a priority at Advantage Rent A Car,” says Traci L. Esch, Director of Market Operations. “Our long-term goal is to expand the live-chat program into other customer service areas throughout our company during 2006. Today, this service has been met with very positive feedback and immediate results for customers currently using the live-chat tool as a means to solve problems or answer questions.”

The live-chat feature not only provides a means to a real-time online communication, but also the ability to keep a record of the exact conversation and solution – instantly. Advantage plans to expand this technology into specific customer service functions during 2006 providing its customers an online full-service solution center.
