ADVANTAGE RENT-A-CAR ANNOUNCES CEO TO LEAD COMPANY’S GROWTH
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (March 13, 2006). Advantage Rent A Car has appointed George J. Gremse as Chief Executive Officer. This announcement follows the recent acquisition of Advantage Rent A Car by ARC Venture Holding, Inc., a private investor group. Under the leadership of Mr. Gremse and the influx of new capital, the San Antonio based company is clearly positioned to be a strong player in the rental car market.
Gremse began his car rental career in positions ranging from station manager to division vice president at Hertz Rent a Car and National Car Rental. More recently, he served as President of North American operations for Alamo Rent A Car. Well versed in managing national and international service driven businesses, Gremse was President of Adia Staffing, N.A. (now Adecco) and its 325 branches in the U.S. and Canada, and was later global Chief Information Officer at Adecco. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Far&Wide Travel, Inc, and Area Vice President for Citibank’s New York Retail Bank.

A native of the New York City area, Gremse served in the Peace Corps and holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an MBA from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Also announced is the appointment of Rick DeJarnett as Treasurer.
